Wedding Day Music Guide- DJ Spontaneous {Wedding Locals We Love}

Wedding Day Music Guide- DJ Spontaneous {Wedding Locals We Love}

Music will play a big part in the wedding day experience for you and your guests. It sets the tone from the moment your closest family and friends arrive to celebrate your day. To help you prepare for a fun and memorable celebration, DJ Spontaneous with Spontaneous Entertainment is sharing a guide to create a stellar wedding playlist for your ceremony and reception. As an Atlanta based Wedding DJ, Jermaine (DJ Spontaneous), has experienced playing music for many couples from different backgrounds and culture. Spontaneous Entertainment, is all about creating “No Boring Weddings”and we can attest that he truly lives up to this motto. When DJ Spontaneous is on the turntables your wedding reception is guaranteed to be one to remember! “No More Boring Weddings” Music Guide Pre-Ceremony:  30 minutes before the Ceremony Your pre-ceremony (also known as the prelude) music sets the proper atmosphere while your guests are being seated. This music should be light and inviting to get everyone on the same wavelength before your Ceremony begins. I suggest light instrumentals that fit your tastes such as… Jazz R&B love songs Inspirational/Gospel Classical (especially violins) Ceremony: Processional + Recessional You typically only need to select 3 songs for your wedding ceremony. Bridal party entrance (Processional) Bride’s entrance Exit (Recessional) There is no right or wrong when it comes to selecting the perfect songs for your ceremony music. I encourage couples to pick whatever they like to add a personal stamp to their entrance. As you plan begin to think about the entrance for your parents, groomsmen and bridesmaids, be sure to coordinate with your DJ in advance on timing. It’s always helpful...

Not to mention, all the options Atlanta has to offer from wedding vendors, gorgeous venues, and endless bridal boutiques to secure the perfect gown. It’s so easy to fall into wedding planning overload! Well needless to say, I’ve listened to your cry and I’m hoping our summer series, Wedding Locals We Love, will be an answer to your call for help. I’ve teamed with some of my favorite Atlanta wedding professionals (yes, the ones we absolutely love!) to provide you with great tips, advice, and inspiration to help you navigate through your planning journey. AND leave you with tons of time to enjoy your engagement without all the stress. First up is our dear friend, Andre, of Andre Brown Photography sharing some great advice on How to Make the Most of Your Atlanta Wedding Engagement Session. Now a days engagement sessions are all the rave, but capturing these amazing photos requires a little preparation. Here are some important tips to take your engagement session from good to great! Determine Your Photography Style: Traditional vs. Lifestyle As you prepare for your engagement session, you want to be clear on the style you want. Erin + Trent Tie the Knot| Atlanta Wedding

It’s so hard to believe half the year has almost flown by. The past few months have been filled with so many great moments and my heart is truly overjoyed. Helping a few wonderful couples celebrate their first day as husband and wife, has topped my list of amazing memories for Eternity Events. A few weeks ago, I introduced our March couple, Erin and Trent, sharing their kind words about our team on the blog. Well I’m beyond thrilled to showcase the lovely photos of their ceremony and reception captured by KazCreative Photography.  We could not have asked for a more perfect spring day for The Hoffman’s Atlanta Wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. There were so many personal details to fall in love with from the beautiful historic venue, the bride’s gorgeous gown, custom signage and stationary created by the bride,  the heartfelt promises exchanged by the Bride and Groom, an impeccable dinner menu, and I certainly can’t leave out the adorable wedding cakes. Love was truly in the air! The bride and her besties enjoyed a morning of pampering with hair and makeup at b. YOU Beauty Bar and Salon. Just lovely!   The invitations were the perfect touch inspired by the bride’s love for all things Kate Spade. A girl can never go wrong with a pair of sparkly heels (did I not mention she loves Kate Spade).  The bride’s bouquet was beautifully designed by Peachtree Petals. The groom, Trent, looked great as he awaits his bride for the first time. A warm embrace during the “first look”. The look and taste of the wedding cakes...

Raving Review: Atlanta Wedding Planner

I could not be happier with the start of our 2016 wedding season. It’s been a few busy months of detailing timelines, adding a personal stamp to design projects for our clients, and diving into new ventures for the business. To top everything off, I’ve had the honor of sending a few lovely couples down the aisle to say “I do”! My heart is filled with such gratitude. About a year ago, I was introduced to Erin and Trenton as they were working through the initial plans for their wedding. During our first conversation, I could sense their love for each other and heartfelt excitement for their upcoming nuptials. At that time, I immediately knew planning their big day would be a fun-filled journey. The sweet couple tied the knot in March during a beautiful ceremony and reception at Callanwolde Fine Art Center in Atlanta, GA. I couldn’t be happier for these two! Here are a few kind words that our bride, Erin, shared from her experience with the Eternity Events team. Sending well wishes to the Hoffmans for many years of wedding bliss.
